The upcoming Telugu film Uppena is among the most anticipated films of Tollywood this year, and fans were eagerly waiting for the release of the film’s trailer. This film marks the silver screen debut of Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, while South star Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of the villain in the romantic drama. As fans were excited to see the first rushes of the film, it was Jr NTR who unveiled Uppena trailer on his social media today.

Jr NTR took to his social media to unveil the trailer, and he wrote, “Happy to present #UppenaTrailer. Good luck my brother Vaisshnav. Best wishes to producers @MythriOfficial and director Buchi @BuchiBabuSana, @IamKrithiShetty, versatile actor @VijaySethuOffl Garu and @ThisIsDSP!” This film has been directed by debutant Bucchi Babu Sana, who had earlier assisted director Sukumar. The trailer begins with a boy’s wish to find true love, and shows him admiring the love stories of Romeo and Juliet, and other lovers.

The trailer looks promising and seems to be a beautiful love story. Vijay Sethupathi as the villain looks intimidating, and we are already excited for the film! Meanwhile, excited fans were trending #UppenaTrailerLaunchByNTR on Twitter.


Vijay Sethupathi will once again be seen playing the role of a villain for the second time in a row. He also played the antagonist in Master. While the film was earlier scheduled to release in 2020, the release date had to be pushed owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. Uppena is all set to release in theatres on February 12, 2021.
